PERU - 4790, Radio Vision de Chiclayo, heard during overnight slot Fri nite 4/16. Noted 0840 with fiddle huaynos, segued, and regular IDs and t/cks by OM for "Radio Vision", reverbed, over the music. Weak to fair signal only, blipping ute a real problem here. But still, this time slot may be the best way for NA DXers to hear this one, as R Vision de Chiclayo is scheduled to run all-night every day except Sunday, and has nice listening OA folkloric "Programa Musical" at 0800-0930 GMT. Reminds me of back in the day, when more LA stns used to run all-night with folkloric programming, peticiones and saludos to listeners, etc.! (R Perry, Illinois)
PERU - 6019.18, Radio Victoria, Lima, becoming a daily visitor now. Noted 0815 in the clear on 4/16 with all-nite show. OM with nx/commentary show. 0825 OM ID en eco along with Beethoven's 5th: "Radio Victoria! . . .la hora . . . con 26 minutos . . programacion de noticas nacional y internacional...." COSTA RICA - 5954.26, Radio Republica, Guapiles, 4/12 at 0912 OM and YL SS tlks. Fair sig and fqy clear. Very nice ID at 0913 by OM, "Radio Republica! .... su sintonia a Radio Republica . . . onda media . . . 5 de la tarde . . . y la banda de 49 metros . .." Repeating and correcting as I mislabeled this log in last report as "Colombia" -- was evidently typing too fast! Thanks to Senor Henrik Klemetz, who noticed and was kind enough to email me!
